Published Research on BrainHQ’s Impact on Health-Related Quality of Life
When people have better brain fitness, they sometimes find they have better overall health, too. That may be because having a healthy brain can protect against certain health challenges, like falling. Several studies have shown that using BrainHQ exercises can help protect health over time. Some of the most interesting are based on the data from the largest cognitive training study on adults, the ACTIVE Study. Among other things, the data show:
- that people who used a BrainHQ exercise were protected against declines in health-related quality of life two years later, when compared to two groups that did other brain training (not from BrainHQ), and still protected even five years later.
- that people’s self-rated health was higher among people who used BrainHQ’s training as opposed to memory or reasoning training not from BrainHQ.
