The Long Lasting Memories (LLM) project developed an integrated platform of computerized physical and cognitive training blended by games (serious/novelty games).for elderly people within an ambient assisted living (AAL) solution. Three years of successful pilots with LLM proved its capacity for improving the cognitive and physical health of its participants, as well as, their brain re-organization and quality of life enhancement. Evidence built during the pilot phase stimulates further the application of LLM as an innovative, social innovation service, thereby enabling a wide range of business opportunities. In January 2014, LLM passed from pilot to market deployment. The service, launched under the brand name LLM Care, is now offered through the Research Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, to all stakeholders, public or private, for individual (e.g. elderly citizens), professional (health care professionals) or organizational (elderly home/day care centers; senior houses; hospitals, municipalities etc) use and exploitation.
