We have reported several times about the scientific evidence for turmeric’s brain benefits, and now, yet another research study has found that a daily does of the pungent orange spice can boost memory.
In a study published recently in Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition, scientists in Taiwan found that older adults with diabetes experienced a memory boost lasting 6 hours if they consumed one gram of turmeric with an otherwise bland breakfast. Those who consumed a placebo did not experience a memory boost.
